Hello! I'm Alicia, the founder of Elementary Elevated, and I am so glad you are here!

As an educator, learner, and mom, my work is rooted in both experience and passion. With over a decade in the classroom and advanced degrees in gifted education, I am dedicated to helping teachers confidently support advanced learners. My goal is to make meaningful differentiation feel practical, manageable, and impactful so every student has the opportunity to grow.

The Story Behind Elementary Elevated

Yes, I Love Standards!

What started as a personal challenge in my classroom quickly became something more. I found myself drawn to the process of taking grade-level standards and uncovering ways to deepen thinking and increase rigor for advanced learners.

As I refined my approach, I began sharing this work at conferences and through professional learning. Over time, educators started asking for more.

  • More tools

  • More examples

  • More support

That growing interest is what led to the creation of Elementary Elevated and continues to shape the work I do today.

My Mission: Support teachers. Elevate learners.

Great teaching deserves great support.

My mission is to support teachers in creating meaningful, challenging learning experiences for advanced learners who need more than additional work. I believe differentiation should be clear, purposeful, and manageable within the realities of everyday classrooms.

My work is grounded in:
